News Release | New Product: 'CDG2521C Series' High Current Inductors for Automotive

SAGAMI ELEC CO., LTD. is pleased to introduce our new development product 'CDG2521C Series' (W2.8mm x D2.5mm x H2.4mm) of high current inductors for automotive applications! We have been accepting sample orders since March 2024.
In 'CDG2521C Series', we have realized further miniaturization of inductors for high-frequency and high-current modules by making full use of our manufacturing technology. The rated current is 20A or more, and high impedance is maintained from 100MHz to 3GHz, and it is AEC-Q200 compliant.
In conventional products, it had been difficult to provide sufficient rated current characteristics to inductors that are nearly 2.5mm square in size, but our advanced magnetic field analysis and assembly technologies have enabled a significant reduction in size while maintaining the rated current.
In recent years, semiconductor devices have become increasingly high-frequency and high-current, and inductors also tend to be required to support low L-values and high currents. Our 'CDG2521C Series' can satisfy these requirements with its low L-value of 19nH to 30nH, high current of 20A or more, and high impedance in the wide bandwidth from 100MHz to 3GHz.
We will further expand our product lineup to meet market needs and provide a wide variety of solutions.

- For multi-phase operations [Vcore regulators, Voltage regulator modules, GPU, CPU, ASIC, Graphics cards and Battery power systems].
